I just saw that on my timeline and got basically jumpscared by Trip, hahaha! I thought I'd share that here even if it's not the most relevant I suppose. It just makes me smile that Best Wishes is not being forgotten and might have a resurgence in popularity (hopefully) thanks to initiatives such as this. It needs to air again so people can rewatch it and realize that it really wasn't as bad as they made it out to be.

I agree. If there are remakes of the black and white games, then they should maybe reference or bring back some BW characters in the new Pokemon season. But that is unlikely since it is without Ash, Pikachu, or Team Rocket. However, I also think that BW haters really need to rewatch BW and realize that some of them were being wayy too harsh towards it. BW wasn't the worst thing that was ever created because the people who made it tried their best, it was just a little rushed because of the earthquake which wasn't the creators fault.

I am also going to point out that I really don't understand the HATE for Trip as a character. I can understand why people might not like him that much or dislike him because he can be unlikeable at times but the HATE for him I think is a bit much. First of all, despite his cockiness, he was one of the least dramatic or vocal of the BW characters. Besides some snarkiness to Ash , he didn't really pick fights or start drama with the other characters. He was introverted and reserved and so I don't think he was ever really "obnoxious" like how some of the other BW characters could be, like I do find Burgundy entertaining and funny as hell but one thing I do dislike about her is her constant picking fights and drama with the other characters that is unwarranted but I still love her a lot.

Also, Trip is kind of right about Pallet Town being "the boonies" If you guys watched OS, you know that Pallet town is in the middle of nowhere and only has a handful of houses, it is practically a farm town in the middle of nowhere. So Trip isn't xenophobic like some haters like to say. Anyways @owls-den thank you for giving Trip love that other fans refuse to give him for stupid reasons. Continue to make the amazing artwork and comics of him that will make other Trip fans happy that their favorite character is getting more appreciation. ☺️

Agree 100% with all this!! Rewatching the series, the only “annoying” thing about the series is maybe how often characters will call each other “little kids”? Like that VERY QUICKLY gets old (even if I adore how it’s the ONE trigger insult to get Trip to do anything you want. Hilarious.) Other than that, the series is pretty much to the standard of DP imo (with less evil team content thanks no thanks to the earthquake and other complications during production)
